Dear J,
In celebration of a friend's graduation, I made pecan brown sugar cookies.
I found this link after a long pinterest search: http://wannacomewith.com/2014/01/brown-sugar-pecan-cookies/
A few tips to keep in mind. If you are lazy to sift the flour (like me), simply pour all the dry ingredients into a bowl and use a whisk to blend it together. Whisking is killing two birds with one stone because it aerates the flour (the purpose of sifting) and combines the dry ingredients! Also, you don't need to flatten these cookies that much before putting them in the oven. They naturally spread out!
Hope all is well,
R
